Randy Bales, Pastor of UBC, has a heart for people to know God and find forgiveness from sin. Beginning at UBC in 1986, Randy has made it his mission of 32 years to follow the words of the apostle Paul in Philippians 3:10; "That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death." One of the eternal pursuits uniquely available to mankind on this earth, Randy believes that anyone and everyone can come to know who God is and find His grace and love.
While at UBC, Randy has dedicated his life in the manner of Ephesians 4: "He gave some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building
up of the body of Christ." Through his strong, expository teaching style, Randy communicates the simple truths found in the Bible for successful and joyful living every week at UBC.
Randy has a MARE degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Peggy, have three children and one grandchild.

Psalm 16:8-11, "I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope.
For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life;
in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore."
