Welcome to Northwest San Antonio! 

University Baptist Church of San Antonio was first a mission church of Castle Hills First Baptist Church in 1978. Since 1980, University Baptist Church has sought to minister in northwest San Antonio—situated between UTSA and the University of Texas Health Science Center. 

In 2015, worship services moved from the original sanctuary (now the youth center) to a modern worship center. As the building was constructed, church members placed wrote prayers and scriptures on rocks placed beneath the platform. The vision was that the new worship center would be built upon the Word of God and the prayers of his people.
