The Music and Worship Ministry of UBC is committed to helping people discover God by creating pathways to his presence. Through a variety of musical groups, eclectic musical styles and a diversity of generations, we see to reach out to all ages while maintaining a clear Christ-centered focus. As we lead others in worship each week, we desire to glorify God with all of our gifts and talents.
Youth Band
The Youth Band is a mixture of high school and middle school students who lead worship for Youth Group on Sunday nights. This young and energetic band plays and sings a wide variety of contemporary music, while discipling one another to become daily worshipers in their walk with Christ. This band also plays for other church activities such as Youth Retreats and occasionally Sunday Morning Worship. Auditions required.
Adult worship Choir
The Adult Worship Choir serves on Sunday in the Morning Worship Service. Accompanied by the Worship Band the choir leads out in singing praises to God. The choir meets Sunday mornings at 8:30am and Sunday Nights @6pm. Membership and rehearsals are open to all adults.
Senior adult choir
The Senior Adult Choir is a vibrant ministry at UBC. This group rehearses weekly on Wednesdays at 10:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Occasionally, they lead worship on Sunday mornings and seek other opportunities to lift their voices. All Senior Adults are invited to participate.
Worship team
Our Worship Team is a hand-selected group that consists of vocalists from our Adult Worship Choir. Our Worship Band is a hand-selected group of instrumentalists. They rehearse together Sunday Mornings at 8:30am and Sunday Nights at 6pm. Audition is required.
